Privacy
Privacy policy
Plain English, because privacy policies you can't read protect nobody. Short version: we collect almost nothing, and never sell anything.
Last updated: July 30, 2026
What we collect
- Newsletter email address. If you subscribe, we store your email address and the date you subscribed in our database. That is the only personal information the site asks for.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type) to deliver pages and prevent abuse. We use short-lived, per-IP counters to rate-limit form submissions.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are visited, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. This uses cookies and similar identifiers set by Google. We look at this data only in aggregate. You can block it with any standard ad/tracker blocker or Google's opt-out add-on, and the site works identically without it.
- Theme preference. Your light/dark choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage), never sent to us.
What we don't do
- No advertising trackers or ad networks.
- No selling, renting, or sharing your email with anyone.
- No profiling: the resilience calculator runs entirely in your browser, and your answers are never transmitted to our servers.
Who processes data for us
Netlify (hosting), MongoDB Atlas (subscriber storage), Resend (email delivery), and Google Analytics (aggregate usage statistics). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. Newsletter emails include our sending domain so replies reach a human.
Your rights
Every newsletter contains a one-click unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. For deletion of your email from our records, access to what we hold about you (it will be one row), or any other request, email info@workforcesignal.com and we'll act on it promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new date. See also our terms of use.
