A correction
If a figure, date or company on the site is wrong, tell us which page and what the source says. We check it against the source, fix it, and note the change. Corrections are the most useful email we get.
A layoff we have not recorded
Send the company, roughly when, and a link to where it was reported: a news story, a company statement or a regulatory filing. We only publish layoffs a reader can check, so anonymous posts and employee reviews are a lead for us to follow up, not something we can publish on their own.
Press and research
Journalists and researchers are welcome to cite our data. Every event links to its source, and the combined dataset is available as JSON. Ask if you need something the pages do not show.
Privacy and the newsletter
To unsubscribe, use the link at the bottom of any newsletter. For access to or deletion of what we hold about you, email us and we will act on it.
How we collect and check the data is on the about and methodology page.
